Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently looking for a Workday Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Financials, ensuring alignment with project goals and business requirements.
  • Perform business analyst functions such as gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring alignment with system capabilities.
  • Configure Workday Financials modules, including testing, deployment, and optimization.
  • Oversee project tasks and deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and successful execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, accounting, and IT to support adoption and integration.
  • Provide user training and ongoing support to ensure effective use of Workday Financials post-implementation.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and maintain performance continuity.
  • Stay current with Workday updates, features, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 full-scale Workday Financials implementations
  • At least 3 years in a lead role managing functional direction of ERP-related projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a full-scale implementation of Workday Financials.
  • Strong proficiency in configuring Workday Financials modules.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting and training end-users on system functionality.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Financials certification.
  • Experience in a corporate Workday implementation project.
  • Knowledge of data migration, integration strategies, and reporting within Workday.
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools such as Adaptive Insights.
  • Experience working within regulatory and audit control environments (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC).
  • Background managing Workday integrations and migration planning.

Additional Information
  • This is a fully remote role with periodic travel required during the initial phase of implementation.
  • Candidates must be available to be onsite once a quarter to St. Louis. Travel expenses will be reimbursed per company policy.
  • This opportunity offers long-term potential with possible conversion to a full-time position.
  • Work is conducted within a collaborative team of eight in a fast-paced environment.
