We are currently looking for a Windows Systems Engineer (Automation) to join our team.
Responsible for building and maintaining a stable and secure infrastructure, providing Tier 2 level application support, administration of Windows servers and underlying infrastructure, and supporting the application deployment workflow.
Bachelor’ s Degree
3+ years of working experience in I.S or related field
Five or more approved certifications within the job area
Strong Operating System (Windows), network and security fundamentals e.g. understanding of networking protocols & applications (TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls, COTS and internally developed applications etc.)
Experience with software development practices – Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Source Code Management (GIT), web development frameworks or software design patterns e.g. Jenkins, Octopus, Puppet, Chef, Shell Scripting in Windows environments, Blue\Green Deployments
Deep experience supporting at least one of the following subject matter areas: HTTP services (Tomcat, IIS, Apache etc.), queueing/streaming (RabbitMQ, Mule etc.)
Knowledge in Robotic Processing Automation\Orchestration e.g. UIPath
Knowledge of platform security tools (ie. Antivirus, vulnerability scans, etc.)
Experience with reporting and data visualization tools, such as Splunk
Experience with production monitoring tools and alerting e.g. SolarWinds
Ability to diagnose application performance and availability issues
Excellent written, analytical, problem solving and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment as well as create partnerships within the development teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
