Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Denver Areas.

 

We are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer III  to join our team.

 

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Tier 3 technical support of end users, infrastructure monitoring and administration, and user account management.
  • Provides system administration, service monitoring, and maintenance of IS infrastructure
  • Researches and resolves technical issues while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Logs and tracks technical issues in helpdesk application
  • Provides tier 3 Support of remote and local users
  • Administers and supports Citrix Infrastructure
  • Creates and maintains Group Policy Objects
  • Manages Active Directory users (Moves, Additions, and Changes)
  • Manages file and share permissions
  • Administers and maintains Windows Servers
  • Logs and tracks technical issues and time worked in IssueTrak
  • Logs and tracks project status and time worked in TargetProcess
  • Works with Development to coordinate and perform software release activities
  • Works evenings and early mornings, as needed, to perform routine maintenance and release activities
  • Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of job’ s best practices with respect to processes and documentation.
  • Assists in desktop software and OS deployment
  • Backs up and assists T2 TSE and engineering teams
  • Assists in application repackaging and deployment
  • Creates and maintains system and support documentation
  • Participates in 24/7 On-Call Rotation
  • Works one Saturday per month to complete routine maintenance

 

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor' s degree or other computer science related studies
  • 4 years of general infrastructure support experience
  • 2 years of Windows Server support and administration experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Detail oriented and possess a desire for quality

  • Certified Cisco Network Associate
  • VMWare Certified Professional
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
  • Splunk Certified Admin
  • SolarWinds Certified Professional
  • Veeam Certified Engineer
  • Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization
  • ServiceNow System Administrator
