Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City, and St. Louis, areas.
We are currently looking for a Tax Accountant to join our team.

We are currently looking for a Tax Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sales and use, income, and property tax returns throughout the United States
- Analyze and research transactions to determine correct tax treatment
- Respond to and resolve jurisdictional inquiries and correspondence
- Perform tax account reconciliations and resolve any exceptions
- Provide customer service to support branch operations
- Participate in team trainings designed to further develop tax technical and interpersonal skills
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience as a Tax Accountant
- Experience as a Tax Accountant for a regional firm, public accounting firm, or private organization with at least $750MM+ annual revenue
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or comparable work experience in tax accounting
- Must possess strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Showcase excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and produce results in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of delivering a quality work product that is prepared with great accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with employees across the company
- Remains flexible and displays ability to quickly reprioritize or change tasks
