We are currently looking for a Systems Engineer II- Azure to join our team.

We are currently looking for a Systems Engineer II- Azure to join our team.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Systems Engineer (Azure), you will be responsible for using your technical knowledge of professional concepts to solve business problems.
- We are looking for a talented individual who can serve as a subject matter expert in their area of focus and represent their department on complex assignments.
- You will be responsible for evaluating elements of technology's effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation and making recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness.
- You will be required to listen to and evaluate customer needs to determine and provide high-quality solutions that align with customer expectations.
- As a Senior Systems Engineer (Azure) you will be responsible for evolving and maintaining the infrastructure that sits underneath our primary reporting systems.
- In this position, you will perform monitoring, proactively react to bottlenecks and areas of concern, configure and support our Kubernetes environment work on cross-training with other team members.
- In this role, you will perform as the primary business hours on-call support, as well as assist with off hours on-call rotation as needed after onboarding.
- Current off-hours on-call rotation is 1 week, every 3 weeks although this is subject to change as the team dynamics evolve.
Required Qualifications
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- 3+ years of Kubernetes administration (AKS preferred)
- Backbone network management Flannel/other
- Expertise in production deployment, integration
- Expertise in production configuration for autoscaling
- Production performance management
- Proficient knowledge Linux (Ubuntu preferred) and command-line scripting
- Proficient knowledge of Azure stack (storage, network, resource configurations, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with various IT teams and business units
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering SSRS
- Experience developing SSRS reports
- Experience with API integration
- Experience writing SQL
- Experience with PowerShell command line scripting
- Exposure to MySQL
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Exposure to Project Management concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
