System Migration Analyst
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently seeking a System Migration Analyst to join a client team.
Responsibilities
Provide remote installation, configuration, and upgrade support for system migration projects.
Follow established installation and upgrade procedures for scheduled initiatives.
Collaborate with onsite technicians and internal teams to execute planned system deployments.
Perform system and component testing to validate functionality prior to project completion.
Assist with troubleshooting system and configuration issues as needed.
Prepare for upcoming projects by reviewing documentation, timelines, and system readiness.
Communicate project status, updates, and completion details to internal stakeholders.
Maintain awareness of upcoming and in progress projects to ensure readiness.
Provide feedback on procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience supporting system deployments, upgrades, or migrations.
Experience working with virtual machines and virtualized environments.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts, data transfer methods, and system security practices.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work productively within defined schedules and timelines.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to support varying schedules, including evenings or weekends when required.
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise software or automation platforms.
Working knowledge of business applications or enterprise systems.
Experience with encryption, security tools, or system hardening practices.
Familiarity with structured implementation or rollout methodologies.
Experience working in remote or hybrid support environments.
