Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a System Administrator III to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee comprehensive system maintenance and advanced troubleshooting
  • Administer complex user account setups and access management
  • Direct major hardware and software deployment initiatives
  • Analyze system performance metrics to improve efficiency
  • Deliver expert-level user support and problem-solving solutions
  • Develop and maintain detailed system documentation and best practices
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and strategic planning
  • Implement and manage robust security frameworks and policies.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of specialized experience in systems administration
  • Advanced expertise in Windows and Linux operating environments, including system optimization and tuning
  • Deep understanding of complex networking setups, VPN configurations, and advanced routing protocols
  • Extensive experience with advanced features of virtualization technologies
  • In-depth understanding of security protocols, with hands-on experience in advanced security systems and threat mitigation
  • Proven track record in managing intricate server environments, including high-availability setups
  • Extensive experience with multiple cloud platforms, with a focus on advanced configurations and optimizations
  • Critical thinking skills, with an emphasis on troubleshooting under high-pressure situations
  • Exceptional communication abilities and experience in mentorship or guiding junior team members
  • Adept at advanced troubleshooting for both infrastructure and sophisticated applications
  • Deep expertise in advanced security protocols
  • Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
