Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of accounting and finance personnel. We provide a variety of professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accounts receivable and ensure timely client payments
  • Investigate aged invoices and communicate with stakeholders to ensure resolution
  • Enter and reconcile check payments in ERP systems and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain and update discrepancy reports related to invoice and payment reconciliation
  • Manage and organize electronic records for all receipts and invoices
  • Reconcile credit card batches against ERP system records for accuracy
  • Monitor daily inventory purchases and perform reconciliation
  • Record sales and purchasing activity in the general ledger
  • Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger balance sheet accounts
  • Process employee expense reports
  • Assist with budget planning and departmental expense tracking
  • Collaborate with department leads to review and manage expenses
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Previous experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Proven track record of proactively identifying and solving problems
