We are currently looking for a Sr. UI/UX Designer  to join our team.

 

Responsibilities
  • Assist in production and ownership of UI standards including navigation elements, templates, graphics and icons.
  • Define goals and requirements in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
  • Define Visual and Interactive User Experience.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs are successfully created and implemented to achieve the user goals.
  • Ensure continuous and collaborative communication between design, architecture and development teams to ensure crisp integration of front-end design to back-end functionality.
  • Develop expert level knowledge of competitive and complementary design strategies to ensure a “ best approach” design with every project.
  • Create and evaluate interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications (redlines) for web and potentially mobile.
  • Actively participate in usability testing and interpret analytics data.
  • Present design work to the product team, engineering team, and business stakeholders for review and feedback.
  • Create reusable widgets and componentry.
  • Work with product stakeholders to translate vision and concept into demonstrable and adaptable user interface presentations.
  • Communicate the benefits of particular UI designs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create promotional materials across a variety of media including brochures and artwork.

 

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of experience as a UX/Interaction designer, or related experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and XD, or other similar UX related tools.
  • Sound design fundamentals: color theory, visual hierarchy, typography and iconography.
  • Strong portfolio featuring design work that showcases visual and interaction design.
  • Comfortable designing responsive experiences from mobile, tablet and desktop.
  • Complete understanding of product lifecycle.
  • Expert knowledge of interface and interaction design.
  • Experience and knowledge of UX best practices.
  • Experience of usability evaluation methods.
  • Exceptional eye for detail, ensuring quality of the design is upheld from concept to release.
  • Act as a continuous learner who actively seeks out and gives feedback to improve the experience.
  • Flexibility, curiosity and ability to embrace complex design problems.
  • Ability to present work with confidence to a variety of audiences and make design decisions based on research.
  • Proven experience developing UI for commercial web based software application.
  • Prototyping, wireframes, storyboards, mock-ups and ‘ clickware’.
  • Previous experience of Browser compatibility issues.
  • Responsive design and working with mobile-first objectives.
  • Ability to liaise with key stakeholders and users.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate to both a technical and nontechnical audience.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Experience designing business enterprise web applications or new software products a plus.
  • Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and working within sprint teams.
  • Basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, Angular, and/or other common UI frameworks, so you have an understanding of what is realistic and can collaborate with develop.
