We are currently looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of strategic planning for the department and communicates clear, concise strategic vision.
Apply advanced knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve a wide range of complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Subject matter expert in multiple areas of responsibility; represents team within and outside own department.
Lead operational and strategic activities.
Lead project planning; provides technical leadership to project teams and/or leads project teams within own area/department and across functional teams.
Work on large, complex initiatives that address future concepts, products or technologies; analyzes and evaluates all variable factors and risk.
Significant autonomy over day-to-day work and the planning of new assignments or projects.
Define, develop, communicate, and implement standards, processes, and procedures for team or department.
Maintain effective relationships with all levels of company management, internal and external customers that promotes understanding and produces results for both parties.
Establish and monitor key performance metrics to ensure compliance of established standards, processes, and procedures.
Attract and develop employees capable of achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
Take an active role in applying advanced methods, theories and research techniques to establish ongoing direction, specification, design, development and implementation of technology vision and strategy.
Accurately scope deliverables including dependencies, risks and issues to ensure seamless delivery, technology effectiveness and security.
Provide guidance and oversight on technical matters within a solution to ensure that the technologies are secure, interoperate and connect appropriately and also support company vision and strategy.
Collaborate with Architects and recommends adjustments to the architecture to improve the overall quality of a solution.
Listen to and evaluate customer needs to determine and provide high quality solutions that align with customer expectations.
Identifies opportunities for improvement; ensures others are aligned with customer expectations.
Actively coach, mentor and teach others; use influence, expertise and leadership to support other teams as they implement technology solutions.
Protect customers, employees, and brand by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions.
Ensures security policy and procedure requirements are met.
Continuously identify opportunities for improving security and implement strategies to improve security posture.
Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field required
5 years of related experience
Proven expertise in designing and managing the following technologies:
On-premise Active Directory
Microsoft Group Policy
Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems
Additional experience in designing and managing the following technologies:
Azure Active Directory
Microsoft Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
