We are currently looking for an Sr. Security Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities
Analyze system and application security to identify vulnerabilities and optimize protection measures for computer systems and information resources.
Develop, test, implement, and maintain security policies and programs to support business objectives and regulatory compliance.
Stay current on security best practices and emerging threats to identify and implement effective security procedures.
Collaborate with the Global Cyber Security Correlations Team to analyze, respond to, and triage security alerts and events.
Utilize security-related tools (e.g., WAF, SIEM, UBA, AV, firewalls) to investigate and remediate security events or incidents.
Provide escalation assistance for resolving moderately complex security issues and recommend potential solutions.
Work with internal and external teams on security issues, ensuring proper communication and collaboration.
Establish and maintain relationships with the Global Cyber Security team, IT teams, business teams, and vendors.
Provide guidance and instruction to less senior team members on tasks and assignments.
Offer direction to the team in the absence of leadership, ensuring continuity and effective decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
3+ years of related experience
Working knowledge of Network Protocols, Packet Captures, Security Controls and Concepts
Respond to security incidents regarding malicious attacks, detected anomalies, malware infections, APT activity, unauthorized access, data extraction, etc.
Highly proficient in analyzing security events; coordinating response to incidents; driving investigations; providing concise updates and communications to management; creating documentation to increase efficiency of all levels of support in proper response processes; maintaining strict security standards
Strong desire to work in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have a strong solution orientation
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
Experience working with cloud solutions and conducting investigations in cloud environments.
