Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a Sr. Project Manager to join our team.


Responsibilities
  • Responsible for driving projects and program tracks as part of the corporate systems environment. 
  • Projects include solutions in Call Center, Financial, HR, Legal, and some operations systems. This role will serve as a project leader and will be responsible for defining, developing, and managing projects and their performance through established objectives, frameworks, risks, milestones, and metrics throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • The role will lead multiple projects/program tracks simultaneously and will provide day-to-day guidance to individual business leaders and project contributors ranging from subject matter experts to executive management. 
  • Projects and program tracks may include technical environment establishment, system and product configuration, user experience, change management (internal and external communications and training) and reporting.
  • Develop an execution and rollout plan for the project/program track(s) aligned with business subject matter experts and leaders.
  • Responsible for managing project tracks to ensure the success of the program, which includes managing the risks and issues, ensuring that the timelines are met, and driving mitigation plans for issues and risks.
  • Collaborate with business and functional partners to define the success criteria and ensure those criteria are met after the project.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to track leads and business analysts who are part of the initiative.
  • Responsible for completing and distributing the project/track level status report on a regular basis to ensure all leaders are engaged and aware of project status.
  • Responsible for creating regular reporting regarding project success metrics, data, and concerns when necessary.
  • Ensure continual alignment with other project managers and project tracks.
  • Build strong relationships between business and functional groups and vendors. Develop a detailed understanding of their issues, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure transparency and collaboration between key stakeholders.
  • Directly manage or assist in managing all vendors/partners who are part of the initiative.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, and accountability within the project teams.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, digital strategy, business management or relevant field preferred
  • Advanced degree/certification in business, computer science, management preferred.
  • Previous experience in banking or financial services institution preferred.
  • 5+ years progressive leadership/project management experience required.
  • Excellent background and experience in managing large projects and/or programs that has a significant technology component.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Extensive experience in project management methodology.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed client satisfaction standards through timely delivery of quality products and solutions.
  • Exceptional people and organizational leadership, with a track record of leading high performing teams.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to drive effective resolutions for project issues and risks.
  • Passion for solving problems that have a large impact to the organization and our members.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to detect and solve project issues and risks effectively.
  • Clear sense of business and technology dependencies and ability to reflect in plans.  
  • Works collaboratively with other teams to improve performance, efficiency, effectiveness, and growth opportunities throughout the organization
