We are currently looking for a Sr. Manager to join our team.
Provide direction to align solution with strategic goals.
Balance and manage operational and business concerns to ensure consistent delivery of quality products and services.
Lead resource identification and planning to support business objectives.
Employ an engaging and professional leadership approach built on collaboration, transformational leadership principles, and diversity and inclusivity.
Developing the team using your experiences, at the same time developing yourself by learning from the team experiences.
Collaborate with architects— systems, software, network, and enterprise— to bring together various requirements into one solution; represents business requirements as they relate to architecture design and implementation.
Lead the identification and documentation of core requirements; translate requirements into specific systems, applications, and process designs.
Ensure the alignment of multiple solutions with one another as well as with business and IT tools, technologies, and goals.
Recommend strategic solutions that reduce complexity of existing solutions and technology in the environment.
Contribute to strategies for improving product health.
Ensure all operational service level agreements (SLAs) are met and reported on regularly.
Ensure high levels of external and internal customer service, technical expertise, productivity, efficiency and quality in staff performance.
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
8+ years of related experience.
Must have 5 years’ experience successfully managing people including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews.
Must have experience developing individuals and driving alignment within a team.
Must have strong project management, time management and organizational skills.
Must have a strong sense of initiative, requiring little direct supervision.
Must have a broad understanding of IT ecosystems and structure.
Must have experience managing application development.
Must have proven experience working across the IT organization to accomplish business objectives.
Must have proven experience managing external vendors and service providers.
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including good listening skills, influence and a strong leadership presence.
Must have experience defining, developing, communicating, and implementing standards, processes, and procedures for the team in a collaborative and diverse environment.
Must have experience determining scope of work, work prep and making work assignments in a fast paced, high-performance team.
Must ensure compliance to and uphold security standards, processes, and procedures in all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
Must provide escalation assistance; recommend potential solutions to issues; follow established escalation procedures; resolve complex issues.
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Experience working in an Agile/Iterative development lifecycle.
Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
