We are currently looking for a Sr. Manager - Architecture to join our team.
Establish standard engagement models and services for the architectural practice.
Manage and meter the resource engagement around ITSS architecture for all strategic initiatives.
Establish and mature guidelines to evaluate project needs
Coordinate with solution-area architects, product SMEs, IT leadership, and the PMO to stay current on IT strategy.
Support a shared vision across IT while building collaborative relationships across the organization.
Set and enforce achievable quality standards for products and services.
Evaluate, prioritize and effectively manage work-load assigned to your team(s).
Develop and manage team(s) through full employment cycle including performance management, and career development; build an effective leadership bench and lead others in doing the same.
Manage vendors and service contracts.
Effectively translate technical issues/topics into business impact and value.
Represent team in conversations and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred, plus 8-10 yrs functional related experience
8+ years of experience leading senior technologists
4+ years of experience in an architecture or strategic leadership focused role
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity, enjoys being challenged with complex problems to solve, has multiple, demonstrated examples of applying process improvements to increase efficiencies, and is comfortable operating at a strategic level in a highly dynamic environment.
Must possess strong skills in executive presentation, work collaboration, understanding of business challenges and the ability to think analytically to direct the improvement of programs.
Must have experience and a high comfort level in leading through ambiguity to set direction and priority.
Experience working across functions and diverse teams.
Comfortable empowering your team to drive execution while providing course correction and decisions as needed.
Must demonstrate experience in setting strategic vision followed by an execution plan and incremental (yet usable) delivery toward goal.
Must have experience developing individuals and driving alignment within a team.
Must have a broad understandings of IT ecosystems and structure.
Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
Must have a strong sense of initiative, requiring little direct supervision.
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
3+ years managing managers
1+ years’ experience leading a consultancy or engagement-based services team (professional services, Project/Product Management, shared services teams)
Experience performing value stream analysis of IT product and services.
Experience leading/developing an architectural practice.
Experience leading the transformation of technology and culture to modernize workloads.
Prior experience using Jira for workload management/funnel control.
Experience applying Agile concepts to product development and delivery.
Basic knowledge of the following architectural domains Business & Process, Application, Data, and Infrastructure.
Familiarity, and ability to be flexible, in using TOGAF, Zachman' s, PEAF or other Architecture frameworks.
