Job Description
Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead
Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities
-
Design, develop, and maintain software solutions with a focus on scalability and performance
-
Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers
-
Contribute to high-level design discussions, applying software design concepts and best practices
-
Develop and document deliverables in line with established standards
-
Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver new features and support existing applications
-
Participate in continuous integration and deployment processes
-
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system stability and reliability
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
-
8+ years of professional software development experience, including experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
-
Strong proficiency in Java development, including Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
-
Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular
-
Background in server-side multi-threaded programming, HTTPS, and web services
-
Hands-on experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)
-
Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems
-
Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium)

Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle

Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Python scripting)

Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or similar)
-
Background with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware)
-
Knowledge of Windows/Linux administration and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Groovy)
