We are currently looking for a Sr. ITSM BA to join our team.
Develop, validate, document, communicate and manage ITSM processes.
Conduct structured reviews of compliance with business and application team members.
Coordinate and facilitate ITSM governance and steering meetings.
Assist with adherence by all lines of business to the ITSM enterprise policies, standards, processes and guidelines
May analyze ITSM data, in support of improving data quality.
Work with the business to identify data issues and identify potential solutions.
Proactively works to identify ways to improve data quality through business rules automation.
Manage ITSM ticket queue, communicating as needed with requestors regarding ticket status.
Evaluate business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options.
Participate in the incident/maintenance window management standard rotation.
Lead change management reviews and manages/reports on compliance.
Perform task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’ s degree or equivalent experience
5-7 years ITSM related experience, such as change, problem, incident and configuration management.
Advanced oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge.
Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
Advanced data analysis skill
Advanced investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously.
Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and participate in department/team projects
Ability to balance detail with departmental goals/objectives
Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into viable/accepted solutions
Advanced negotiating and persuasion skills
Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
General business knowledge
8+ years IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Data Analysis, etc.
2+ years Life Insurance industry knowledge
Service Now Experience
Experience with MDM and / or Data Governance implementations
Experience with SSRS reporting
5+ years’ experience in infrastructure technologies and tools
Insurance industry knowledge
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
