Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation in Azure.
- Work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and create effective data workflows.
- Create and manage data storage solutions, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage1.
- Develop and implement data integration processes (extract, transform, load) using tools like Azure Data Factory.
- Ensure efficient data cleaning, conversion, and loading from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
- Utilize big data technologies such as Azure Databricks and Apache Spark to handle and analyze large volumes of data.
- Create data processing workflows and pipelines to support data analytics, machine learning, and other data-driven applications1.
- Support the company mission to democratize data and support other parts of the organization in providing our clients with data-driven insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks in a production environment.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure technologies.
- Strong understanding of data management, storage, and integration principles.
- Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies based on business requirements.
