We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team.
Participates on project teams and uses basic knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve simple to moderately complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Assists in developing effective user stories from high-level roadmap deliverables. This will be done utilizing excellent written and verbal communication to detail the business need and acceptance criteria in an easy to understand manner.
Work as a development team member and use your expertise to evaluate requests in order to determine feasibility. This may require additional research to identify options that best meet product needs.
Serves as the primary interface between the product and the IT teams.
May be required to present formal presentations to end users, stakeholders, and management.
Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements.
Presents information regarding the software functionality. This includes responding to technical questions.
Identifies potential application problems and effectively communicates impact.
Participates in developing business analyst duties for the IT department.
Provides instructions and guidance to less senior business analyst on assignments to ensure continuity of the BA practices across scrum teams.
Assists with researching opportunities to minimize complexity by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out cost effective solutions.
Subject matter expert in select areas of responsibility.
Leads release acceptance activities, including UAT testing.
Assists with task automation and process improvements.
Assists with creation of customer facing communications and training.
Assist with data analytics and reporting solutions.
Informally coach and mentor less senior team members individually.
Bachelor’ s degree and 3 to 5 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Effective planning, organization and time management skills.
Effective analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Previous experience as a Business Analyst in a Scrum-Agile working environment.
Proven ability to demonstrate transitioning high-level roadmap deliverables into effective user stories.
Proven ability to effectively lead system capabilities discussions within the scrum team and as an advocate outside a scrum team.
Previous experience in a technology environment.
Competent working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucid Charts and Google Application platform.
Previous experience mentoring junior business analysts.
