We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. We are currently looking for a IT Business Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and technical requirements across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
Translate complex business needs into clear, detailed functional and technical documentation
Support solution design by documenting system interactions, data flows, and integration points
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions
Facilitate meetings, including requirements sessions, daily standups, and status updates
Perform root cause analysis and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
Assist with integration and functional testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements
Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while adhering to timelines and priorities
Provide ongoing support post-implementation to ensure continued success and optimization of solutions
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, or similar role
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience gathering and documenting detailed business and system requirements
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and results-driven mindset
Experience facilitating meetings and coordinating across stakeholders
Familiarity with integration and functional testing processes
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
High attention to detail, including documenting system designs and business processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience working in Agile or hybrid software development environments
Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and processes
Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and distributed systems
Experience with SQL or data analysis
