We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team.
Works throughout the software development life cycle to design, code, test, debug, and maintain applications with a broad understanding of a variety of languages and architectures.
Interest in developing software and hardware solutions who can analyze existing applications and implement new features and applications.
Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
Creates appropriate deliverables and develops application implementation plans throughout the life cycle in a flexible development environment.
Participate in all phases of the software and hardware development life cycle utilizing Agile Scrum methodology in the creation of new products.
Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and other engineers in the design and evolution of software and hardware solutions that support access solutions in higher education.
Adhere to the highest standards to ensure the security and reliability of our applications.
Practice secure coding methods.
Limited on-call work hours; work-life balance.
2 years software engineering experience.
2 years designing and integrating hardware solutions.
Experience with developing .NET applications on Windows IoT.
Experience with Object Oriented programming.
A passion for learning new technologies.
Ability to work well within a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
5 years of experience developing applications on Windows IoT.
Frameworks such as .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, React.
Data access technologies and proficiency with a DBMS, such as SQLServer.
DevOps practices and tools, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Design, implementation, and deployment of cloud-native application on a PaaS.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, Banner, and Colleague or similar.
Experience working with higher education institutions.
