Manager, Applications
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently seeking a Manager, Applications to join a client team.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage enterprise application platforms, including system stability, integrations, upgrades, patching, and daily operational support.
Oversee technical environments, ensuring system availability, performance, and compliance with internal standards.
Provide leadership and direction for technical team members, including mentoring, coaching, and performance support.
Drive process mapping, reengineering, functional design, and project execution to meet defined timelines and objectives.
Manage vendor relationships related to enterprise application platforms and supporting technologies.
Oversee change control, release management, and software development life cycle processes.
Collaborate with developers, quality assurance resources, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
Monitor project schedules and budgets and contribute to application roadmaps and future platform direction.
Ensure audit readiness and compliance with applicable security and regulatory standards.
Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Three or more years of experience supporting and managing enterprise application platforms in a leadership capacity.
Hands on experience with enterprise resource planning systems, including configuration, support, and integration.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and release management practices.
Experience leading technical teams, including mentoring and coaching.
Demonstrated success delivering large scale application implementations or upgrades.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification related to enterprise application platforms.
Experience with database technologies, including writing and reviewing SQL queries.
Knowledge of integration methods such as APIs, XML, or web services.
Experience supporting financial, accounting, or operational application modules.
Background combining hands on technical work with people leadership responsibilities.
Experience working in regulated or compliance driven environments.
