Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test web applications.

Collaborate with analysts, QA testers, and end users to ensure applications meet business needs.

Contribute to the growth and improvement of overall software development practices.

Share code, best practices, and methods across teams to improve efficiency in development and maintenance.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
-
Work within agile frameworks (Scrum and Kanban) to organize, plan, and deliver projects.
Required Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
-
Experience developing and maintaining database-backed web applications.
-
Proven experience working within agile practices to deliver well-tested and maintainable software.
-
Hands-on experience developing web applications using Python and Django, or other Python web frameworks.
Skills
-
Strong knowledge of Python development, debugging, and testing.
-
Proficiency with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
-
Proficiency with SQL and basic database design principles.
-
Experience with unit testing and test automation.
-
Understanding of containerization and cloud infrastructure.
-
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
