Job Description

We are currently looking for a Software Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Establish new policies and procedures.
- Explore the use of new tools within the AWS product suite to support future use cases such as cataloging and visualization.
- Ensure the performance and reliability of the database including performance tuning, monitoring, and error reporting.
- Implement appropriate backup and recovery mechanisms.
- Perform environment refreshes.
- Implement code deployments in UAT, QA, and production.
- Creating MOPs for code deployments.
- Creating firewall tickets.
- SQL DB support.
- Data visualization and data cataloging.
- AWS workloads.
- Software Engineering Professional with experience in software development, data-driven analytics, Oracle, and Teradata.
- Database experience with Python, JAVA development, XML development, and SQL development.
- Strong knowledge in Linux and shell scripting.
- AWS engineering background with knowledge of AWS technologies such as S3, EC2 and VPC.
- Expertise in providing ongoing support during code deployments by working hot-fixes, patches, and correcting configuration issues.
- Expertise in all phases of software development utilizing SDLC.
- Worked in a team environment using Agile Scrum Process (daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews and retrospectives).
- RDBMS skills with excellent knowledge of Design, Normalization and Database Management Concepts.
- Knowledge of procedural and object-oriented algorithms and design.
- Good communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
