We are currently looking for a SharePoint Developer to join our team.
Lead in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications in the SharePoint platform.
Coordinate with PMO representatives and decision makers, system and business owners, and end users to define business and functional requirements and systems goals.
Coordinate with PMO representatives to research, document, and develop system requirements and specifications for the most complex and critical business systems.
Work with ETL/integration developers to design, develop, and test interfaces between new and existing systems.
Work with architects and developers to best determine how SharePoint systems best fit into the overall application landscape.
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Create system design proposals.
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of SharePoint development best practices. Lead in the establishment and adherence to of departmental standards.
Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems to ensure they meet defined system requirements.
Participate in research and design for the SharePoint farm environment in conjunction with SharePoint server administrators.
Provide orientation, training, and support to end users for all modified and new systems.
Act as an advocate and representative of IT to the business, providing value by offering technical insight and solutions.
Proven experience in the end-to-end process of design, development and implementation of SharePoint 2013/2016 systems from concept to final delivery.
Experience working with SharePoint technologies including sites, libraries, workflows, web parts, forms, and themes.
Experience with C# web application development a plus.
Ability to evaluate and implement third party SharePoint plugins and tools.
Ability to develop and deliver SharePoint reporting functions.
Prior experience integrating data from external sources into SharePoint applications.
Prior experience exporting data from SharePoint systems for data warehousing and reporting or integrating to other applications.
Experience working in a source control environment – TFS experience a plus.
Ability to design and execute custom user interfaces – professional UI/UX design experience a plus.
