We are currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team.

 

Position Responsibilities
  • Develop on the ServiceNow platform, including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests.
  • Provide strong development and project collaboration between developers, analysts, and other team members.
  • Develop custom workflows utilizing modern web technologies.
  • Configure out of the box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows.
  • Maintain ServiceNow instance patches and annual platform upgrades.
  • Utilize available programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
  • Document code, technology, processes, and procedures.
  • Responsible for the design and build of ServiceNow Applications and integration to other applications and platforms.
  • Develops user friendly catalog items with experience writing orchestration workflows.
  • Designs, develops, and implements integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise tools.
  • Work in collaboration with business partners internal and external to establish and or improve ServiceNow integrations.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow – Workday integration.
  • Collaborate with CMDB Analyst to ensure optimal CMBD and will have oversight for Discovery module.
  • Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows and business use cases.
  • Design / develop ServiceNow forms, tables, modules as well as scripts and workflow.
  • Build workflows from service owner requirements including requests, request items and tasks.
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for Service Now configuration, implementation and support.
  • Articulate functional and technical requirements to team members for support of development efforts.
  • Implement ServiceNow annual upgrades and ensures remediation of all issues identified before promoting to production.
  • Implement new ServiceNow modules which may include customization.
  • Implement MID servers, web services, ETL processes, and other relevant technology to operationalize processes on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
  • Provide technical coaching and oversight to team members.
  • Administer enterprise ServiceNow instance including group and user maintenance, ACL, UI Actions, Catalog Items, Portal.
  • Proven understanding of ITIL framework, IT service management processes and best practices, IT infrastructure, and business needs.
  • Review and recommend where ServiceNow platform fits into the enterprise architecture roadmap.
  • Architect new ways of solving problems using the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop solutions across the ServiceNow platform to utilize automation and integration capabilities of ServiceNow, focused on leveraging business services with out of the box capabilities
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model and relationships.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates organizational, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings to leadership.
  • Provide a personal example of living the principles of continuous quality improvement whereby decision-making is driven by data, and customer-supplier relationships are facilitated both within and outside the system.

 

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM); IT Asset Management (ITAM); IT Operations Management (ITOM).
  • Experience with: Service Portal, Service Catalog, CMDB/Discovery, HR Case Management, Live Chat (Connect), Virtual Agent, Self Service Password Reset, Performance Analytics. 
  • Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST).
  • Integration expertise with internal and external sources.
  • Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
  • A formal certification in ITIL (or other) information technology best practice framework.
  • Bachelor' s Degree

  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
