We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team.

We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly and year-end closings, preparation of financial statements.
- Analyze and track costs related to production, labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
- Manage and reconcile fixed assets.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of financial and accounting systems.
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Sales & use tax filings and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation and conversion to a new ERP system.
- Handle routine AP/AR & GL tasks, journal entries, and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist in preparation and conversion to new ERP system.
- Support implementation and improvement of financial and accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred but not required)
- Experience in accounting department in Manufacturing Industry
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency including experience with Macros, Vlookups, Pivot Tables, complex formulas
- Inventory Control Experience (Manufacturing Industry Accounting)
- Knowledgeable in GAAP & General Ledger Experience
- Cost Accounting along with Sales & Use Tax Experience (preferred)
- Soft Skills: Confidence, Driven, Self-starter, and looking to become a leader
