Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for a Project Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Project Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project costs for accurate billing.
- Prepare, enter, and distribute billings for various projects.
- Assist with project setup and closeout.
- Analyze customer profitability and setup.
- Serve as a liaison between Project Managers and accounting.
- Respond to Project Manager and customer requests, making timely adjustments.
- Manage customer collections for assigned projects.
- Ensure accurate sales tax reporting.
- Support training and implementation of accounting processes.
- Provide backup for other accounting duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 4+ years of accounting experience or Project Accounting
- Experience with ERP Software & Excel
- Sales Tax Experience (plus)
- Construction Industry Experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing processes.
- Time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong analytical and trouble solving skills.
- Be creative, flexible, adaptable, and possess excellent teamwork skills.
- Works without direct supervision with different personalities and under pressure.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills.
