Senior Operational Finance Analyst – Corporate Finance
Location: Midwest Region
Adaptive Solutions Group is currently seeking a Senior Operational Finance Analyst to join a dynamic finance team in KCMO. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and exposure to leadership-level financial decision-making in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Analyze financials and key performance indicators across multiple divisions to provide actionable insights to leadership.

Review complex projects, interpret financial implications, ensure proper application of revenue recognition standards, and evaluate project-level risk.

Partner with project teams to assist with financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
-
Lead, coach, and mentor Operational Finance Analysts across multiple locations.
-
Support management with planning initiatives, group coordination, and training for project managers and leadership teams.
-
Execute month-end close processes and financial reporting accurately and on time.
-
Assist with audits, including project-specific and company-wide financial audits.
-
Lead special projects focused on innovation, process improvement, and best practice development.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
-
Minimum of 8 years of related experience
-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Strong client service focus
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with revenue recognition for contracts or software
-
Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft Power BI
-
CPA designation
