We are currently looking for a Senior IT Director to join our team.
Responsibilities
Dynamic and accomplished Director to lead the technology department with a strong emphasis on strategic vision, accountability, and execution.
Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative IT strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
Requires a visionary leader who can translate high-level goals into actionable plans, drive accountability across the team, and ensure the successful execution of complex technology initiatives.
Develop and communicate a clear and compelling IT strategy that aligns with the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
Collaborate with senior executives to understand business needs and provide strategic technology recommendations that drive growth and efficiency.
Foster a culture of accountability within the IT department by setting clear performance expectations, objectives, and KPIs.
Establish processes for regular performance reviews, feedback, and recognition to drive continuous improvement and development.
Ensure alignment between individual and team goals and the overall strategic direction of the organization.
Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Implement project management best practices to manage risks, mitigate issues, and adjust project plans as needed.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions and alignment with business processes.
Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Provide guidance and support to team members, enabling them to excel in their roles and contribute effectively to the organization's success.
Promote professional growth and skills enhancement through training, certifications, and other learning opportunities.
Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and select technology solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to quality standards.
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal service levels, performance, and value for the organization.
Qualifications
Director Level Experience.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership capacity.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful IT strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
Strong project management skills with a history of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.
