Senior Auditor
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently seeking a Senior Auditor to join a client team.

We are currently seeking a Senior Auditor to join a client team.
Responsibilities

Perform audit and validation activities to assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.

Conduct walkthroughs to evaluate control design.

Execute sample testing to assess control effectiveness.

Document audit workpapers in accordance with established standards.

Draft audit findings and discuss results with stakeholders.

Prepare risk assessments and audit reports.

Collaborate with audit leadership and team members throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Promote a process, risk, and control focused mindset across business functions.

Support continuous improvement of audit methodologies and practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree.
-
Three or more years of audit experience.

Experience performing control testing and audit documentation.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.

Ability to communicate audit findings clearly in writing and verbally.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or similar, or willingness to pursue certification.

Experience supporting audits in regulated or complex environments.
-
Exposure to risk management, compliance, or internal controls frameworks.

Interest in expanding knowledge across audit, risk, and governance disciplines.
