We are currently seeking a Security Engineer II to join our team.
Responsibilities

  • Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to support incident identification

  • Monitor threat intelligence feeds to identify indicators of compromise, advanced persistent threats and other security risks

  • Assist in evaluating threat tactics, techniques and procedures using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK or similar models

  • Analyze and understand vulnerabilities, including methods of exploitation

  • Assess threat severity and evaluate risk to the organization’s systems and assets

  • Identify deviations from approved configurations and security policies

  • Partner with network, server, desktop support, development and business teams to address vulnerabilities

  • Track remediation efforts and ensure activities align with established timelines and corrective action requirements

  • Support consistency between local security practices and organizational security standards

  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and lifecycle management of security solutions and documentation
Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of security controls such as access control, authentication, encryption, logging and data integrity

  • Experience coordinating organization-wide security initiatives

  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements related to information security

  • Knowledge of security risk management principles and defense-in-depth practices

  • Ability to synthesize information, identify patterns and develop conclusions

  • Strong analytical reasoning skills to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches

  • Ability to weigh risks, costs and benefits to determine appropriate actions

  • Ability to assess needs and translate requirements into technical recommendations
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a structured vulnerability management or threat intelligence program

  • Exposure to enterprise security tools and monitoring platforms
