We are currently looking for a Security Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities
Be accountable for engaging the assigned subject matter exerts for content and material accordingly for awareness newsletters, activities, and websites.
Participate and contribute to projects related to cybersecurity awareness including business initiative and complete assigned tasks through project’s’ development, integration, and implementation.
Be able to organize the activities for cybersecurity awareness month by researching speakers, games, quizzes, and reward activities as directed, provide solutions and result of the speaker events, games, and quizzes.
Be able to assist cybersecurity awareness learning related initiatives, tasks, and activities.
Be aware of the industry standards and activities and become familiar with cybersecurity awareness leading vendors or solutions.
Be able to execute Cybersecurity awareness month and other related activities per the plan, and report on metrics of participation and effectiveness.
Continually improve the third party security risk management program to be consistent with changing enterprise-specific and industry-wide risk and regulatory environment, and develop reports, and implement third party security risk management training program to educate staff.
Assist with the design, implementation, maintenance of third-party security risk management policies, procedures, and controls.
Partner with other stakeholders (e.g. Enterprise Risk Management, Sourcing, Information Security, Infrastructure, Compliance, Legal) to effectively coordinate the execution of third-party engagements
Resolves and/or escalates cybersecurity related trouble tickets.
Uses basic understanding of all security controls.
Responsible for one or two security technologies.
Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing.
Manages security of confidential information, assets and intellectual property, reviews all systems allowing access or attempted access to the network and ensures proper security controls are in place.
Monitors systems to detect intrusions and protect against hackers and viruses.
Assists in network security architecture design and planning, disaster recovery infrastructure design and the evaluation of new network technologies.
Researches and creates network security policies and monitors all aspects of HIPAA security policy, assists with audits.
internal and external auditors and security assessment practitioners.
Conducts disaster recovery planning, scheduling and testing, business continuity planning for IT and emergency notification services.
Provides network security support for projects.
Assists in identifying various security solutions and technologies.
Participates in emergency response team activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
Three years' experience
