About the Opportunity
Adaptive Solutions Group is partnering with a growing organization in the construction and materials industry to identify an Outside Sales Representative. This role offers the opportunity to drive business growth, build strong client relationships, and represent high-quality products in a competitive market.
Position Overview
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting specialized products and services within an assigned territory. This individual will manage the full sales cycle, from developing new business to maintaining and growing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, relationship-driven, and comfortable working in a field-based sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and grow sales within an assigned territory
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and key stakeholders
Communicate product value and deliver tailored solutions to client needs
Client Engagement & Support
Provide pricing, quotes, and product information via in-person meetings, phone, and email
Support customers throughout the sales process to ensure a high level of satisfaction
Present to small and mid-sized groups of decision-makers as needed
Technical Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams to support product specifications and approvals
Assist in troubleshooting product-related questions or challenges
Visit job sites when needed to evaluate product performance and application
Reporting & Market Insights
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities within a CRM system
Provide updates on market trends, customer feedback, and product performance
Partner with internal teams to communicate industry insights and customer needs
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in outside sales
Strong understanding of sales processes and relationship management
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with CRM systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus
Background in construction, manufacturing, or related industries preferred
