Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.

We are currently looking for a React Native Mobile Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.

  • Write clean, maintainable code using TypeScript or JavaScript, adhering to best practices.

  • Integrate mobile apps with backend services such as RESTful APIs, MQTT, GraphQL, or cloud-based platforms.

  • Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product teams to gather requirements and deliver seamless user experiences.

  • Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing using tools like Jest or React Testing Library.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues in development and production environments.

  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team stand-ups.

  • Document code and maintain a knowledge base for consistent implementation practices.

  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development, including cross-platform tools and performance optimization techniques.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience developing mobile applications using React Native.

  • 5+ years of native iOS and Android development experience.

  • 5+ years working within Agile development environments.

  • Strong knowledge of React Native frameworks and testing tools.

  • Proficiency with mobile development tools (Xcode, Android Studio, VSCode).

  • Experience integrating backend services and APIs.

  • Solid understanding of performance tuning and app optimization techniques.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cross-platform technologies such as Flutter or similar frameworks.

  • Familiarity with Firebase or other mobile backend platforms.

  • Knowledge of augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), or other advanced mobile technologies.
