Job Description


Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.

We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer – Playwright / .NET to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance automated test cases for both UI and API layers using an existing Playwright automation framework in C#.

  • Improve the existing framework to support a wider range of application scenarios.

  • Integrate test automation within DevOps workflows, including pipeline creation and execution on scheduled intervals or code merges.

  • Perform database validations and testing using SQL Server.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications or a related field.

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in framework development and automation.

  • Proficiency in:

    • .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC / Web API

    • Entity Framework

    • SQL Server

  • Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Exposure to microservices architecture.

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit).

  • Knowledge of hybrid automation frameworks.
