Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis, areas.
We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance to join our team.

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of software applications/products.
- Conduct thorough testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing process.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Design and implement automated test scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Maintain and update automated test suites to adapt to changes in the software.
- Collect and analyze quality metrics to assess the effectiveness of testing processes.
- Generate comprehensive test reports for stakeholders, summarizing test results, identified defects, and overall product quality.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in regular meetings to provide updates on testing progress and discuss quality-related issues.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Recommend and implement best practices for quality assurance.
Required Qualifications
- Driven and problem-solving mindset individual
- Must have experience building enterprise testing frameworks by leveraging existing tools and building custom tools.
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of QA Testing/Development experience (SDET)
- Must be able to write UI tests as well as Backend tests (API, DB, Filesystem.). One or the other is not good enough.
- Batch automation testing experience is a must (e.g: ActiveBatch)
- Must have experience conducting functional, integration, performance, and regression testing.
- Must have experience in designing, developing, and executing SQL server Database SQL scripts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with various Microsoft technologies and tools including .Net, C#, REST, SOAP, Git, SSIS, SSAS, SQL Server, Microservices, Visual Studio and Azure Cloud/AWS preferred.
- Experience with Performance Testing Tool Scripting/Test Execution (LoadRunner, HP test automation, JMeter, Postman etc.) preferred.
- Experience in automation, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines preferred (Azure Dev Ops or Jenkins) preferred.
- programming experience in Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET) preferred.
- Financial / Accounting experience preferred.
- Insurance / Re-insurance experience preferred.
- Relevant technical certifications preferred.
