Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities

Manage and execute multiple complex technology projects, including IT infrastructure and system implementation initiatives

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables

Lead weekly meetings with internal stakeholders, contract vendors, and external partners
-
Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
-
Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment, communication, and successful delivery
-
Oversee vendor coordination to ensure key milestones are met
-
Identify and implement process improvements to drive team efficiency and effectiveness
-
Track and manage tasks using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and Jira
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in project management, focused on IT and technical project delivery

Hands-on experience working in Agile and Scrum environments

Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident leading meetings of 20+ people

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with IT systems and infrastructure

Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
-
Background in process improvement or operational efficiency

Experience managing external vendors and contract resources

Familiarity with Jira, Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Project (nice to have)

Certifications such as Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or Six Sigma are a plus

Previous experience in a collaborative, Agile-inspired environment
