Program Manager
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.

We are currently seeking a Program Manager to join a client team.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and support cross functional initiatives and priority programs to ensure on time delivery within defined scope, budget, and objectives.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, applying established project management methodologies and best practices.

  • Perform project initiation activities including development of charters, scope documents, work plans, and stakeholder identification.

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans including schedules, milestones, communication plans, and resource alignment.

  • Partner with business, product, and technology teams to gather, validate, and present technical, business, and nonfunctional requirements.

  • Track project progress against timelines, budget, scope, risks, and deliverables.

  • Facilitate project team meetings and hold team members accountable for assigned tasks and outcomes.

  • Develop and deliver regular project communications and status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and required business decisions.

  • Support user acceptance testing activities for technology related initiatives when required.

  • Review project deliverables for quality and adherence to standards prior to implementation.

  • Remove barriers to execution and support the implementation of new processes, procedures, or system enhancements.

  • Perform project closeout activities including lessons learned, documentation completion, and transition to business owners.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and transformation initiatives to enhance project delivery practices.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

  • Five or more years of experience in project or program management.

  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise level or cross functional initiatives.

  • PMP certification required.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives without direct authority.

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

  • Willingness to support moderate travel requirements as needed.

  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large scale business transformation or system implementation initiatives.

  • Familiarity with change management methodologies.

  • Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall project delivery approaches.

  • Background supporting initiatives involving business systems or operational process improvements.
