Product Manager III

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement positions with companies throughout the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.

ASG is seeking a Product Manager III to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a product or product portfolio
  • Conduct analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for product enhancement
  • Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on user feedback, business goals, and strategic objectives
  • Partner with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and delivery teams to align product direction and maximize value delivery
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps that balance short-term priorities with long-term strategy
  • Evaluate work during pre-implementation stages to ensure alignment to product vision and minimum viable product goals
  • Work closely with engineering and technical teams to deliver high-quality product outcomes
  • Define detailed product specifications and support backlog prioritization in collaboration with product owners and delivery teams
  • Build strong relationships with technical teams and stakeholders to encourage collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early and help coordinate actions to keep delivery on track
  • Create user-focused artifacts such as personas, visualizations, or interaction concepts to support better product decisions
  • Present roadmap updates, progress, and strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
  • Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional alignment across business and technology teams
  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and release support
  • Define and monitor KPIs and product performance metrics to measure success and inform decision-making
  • Analyze trends, feedback, and operational data to recommend enhancements and future roadmap priorities
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements, encouraging innovation, and applying product best practices
  • Partner with technical, infrastructure, compliance, security, and data teams to understand and prioritize non-functional requirements and risk considerations

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or a related field
  • Strong experience developing product strategy, roadmaps, and feature prioritization
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems and translate user and business needs into clear product direction
  • Experience communicating effectively with executive leadership and senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with cloud-based environments, with strong preference for Azure knowledge
  • Broad technical understanding across areas such as DevSecOps, AI, system integrations, and enterprise technology landscapes
  • Experience working with vendors and external partners
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to identify issues, dependencies, and opportunities across products or processes
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate tradeoff discussions and push back when needed
  • User-centric mindset with strong business acumen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and customer-focused

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Certification or education in Product Management such as SAFe, CSPO, CPM, or similar
  • Working knowledge of product and software development life cycles, including Agile, waterfall, or iterative delivery methods
  • SAFe experience preferred
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or other complex regulated environments
  • Experience supporting enterprise product teams with deep technical and stakeholder complexity
