We are currently looking for a Portfolio Accountant to join our team.
Devote the majority of their time in performing monthly operational and corporate accounting responsibilities.
Assist with the preparation of annual property budgets.
Keep accurate reports for all property income and expenses- cash management.
Perform Journal Entries, Accruals, and Reconciliations along with Financial Statements/ Reporting.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws is maintained.
Analyze and identify improvement areas.
Work with external auditors to provide information during the annual audits.
Prepare for and attend regular meetings with the property management staff to present detailed reports on portfolio status for properties.
Complete other tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager and VP of Finance and Accounting.
1-2 years of Accounting or Finance Experience
Bachelors Degree (BS or BA)
Strong Excel Experience- there is an Excel Assessment that ahs to be passed
Understand information technology as it relates to accounting and finance
