Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for a PeopleSoft Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement custom PeopleSoft applications, modules, and integrations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using PeopleSoft tools and technologies.
- Perform upgrades, enhancements, and customizations on PeopleSoft systems including HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions.
- Create and maintain reports using PeopleSoft Query, XML Publisher, and other reporting tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, working closely with end users to ensure functionality aligns with their needs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, system administrators, and other developers to ensure the PeopleSoft applications are optimized and running efficiently.
- Maintain technical documentation of system designs, configurations, and modifications.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Stay updated with PeopleSoft technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft development, including experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and SQR.
- Proficient in SQL and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Experience in developing custom workflows, interfaces, and reports in PeopleSoft.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft security and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or other modules, including core configuration and functionality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade projects or implementations.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with cloud integration and deployment.
