Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team.

We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Process Semi-Monthly salary payroll
- Serve as subject matter expert for payroll areas and POC for salary employees
- Complete payroll onboarding process for all salaried new hires and hourly transfers to salary
- Work closely with management to ensure final pay, PTO payouts, and severance
- Calculate pay for exempt salaried overtime and document
- Communicate and process garnishments
- Manage pay and benefit deductions for LOA
- Manage support tickets for salary payroll employees
- Review Wage and Tax reports for the quarter and annual close
Required Qualifications
- 2 -4 years of direct experience processing payroll
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Professional discretion and experience handling confidential information
- High attention to detail
- Multi-State Payroll experience
- Compliance Awareness
- Construction industry experience (Plus)
- Working knowledge of Dayforce (Plus)
