Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for a PM/ Scrum Master to join our team.
Responsibilities
Takes ownership and accountability for driving team and tasks forward
Holds team members accountability for delivery of tasks
Removes or escalates team members roadblocks to appropriate teams when necessary
Helps manage content for sprints and monthly releases
Makes sure stories are completed by the published code cutoff dates
Comfortable addressing small to medium issues with individual team members
Communicates feedback on individual team member’s progress to leaders
Comfortable approaching leaders to discuss issues with individual team members or the team as a whole
Plans and coordinates project deliverables and timelines
Creates and maintains project plans when necessary
Understands when project deliverables impact other teams and responds accordingly
Follows up on deliverables and outstanding items
Assesses overall status of the project to determine if dates are going to be met and make recommendations if dates are not going to be met
Raises recommendations up to leaders for final decision
Required Qualifications
Must have worked in current role for at least 1 year
Must be in good standing with a “Meets Requirements” or higher on the last two reviews
Cannot have any disciplinary actions in the last 12 months
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
6+ years of related Information Technology experience
2+ years of Project Management Experience
Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and have the ability to handle multiple tasks
Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence
Must have experience in full lifecycle development cycle
Must have the ability to effectively collaborate and work with others in a remote work environment
Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible with changing priorities and requirements
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Scrum Master certification
Task management abilities: Able to identify necessary steps to a solution and move an initiative to the goals
Professional communication abilities: Able to formalize proposals, communicate the need and instruct others on the use of solutions
Experience with Microsoft Office desktop application (Word, Excel, etc.) and Visio
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
