Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Denver Areas.

 

We are currently looking for a PC Support II to join our team.

 

Position Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade workstation hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Support single and multi-function printing devices, smart phones, tablet devices, and mobile data systems.
  • Workstation moves and equipment upgrades.
  • Resolve problems associated with Help Desk trouble calls.
  • Provide technical knowledge and expertise necessary to solve medium to highly complex problems.
  • Performed with limited supervision.

 

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a computer science-related field
  • 2+ years desktop operating and networking systems
  • Must have working knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Working knowledge of standard concepts, best practices and procedures related to set up/configuration of desktop hardware and current operating system.
  • Working knowledge of desktop operating and networking systems.
  • Knowledge of audio-visual systems, ruggedized laptops, virus kiosks and other equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical.
  • Manages time effectively while assuring attention to details.
  • Finishes tasks accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.
  • Makes sound decisions with general guidance.
  • Understanding of DNS and active client (what it does and how it works).
  • Familiar with maintaining laptop and PC hardware in addition to laser printer technology.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience providing support and troubleshooting for IOS and Android devices is also preferred.
  • Experience in support of SCCM, Citrix, Remote/Virtual Desktop, and other Operating Systems is preferred.
