Job Description


Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for an Operations Specialist II to join our team.


Responsibilities
  • Fully proficient, with considerable job-related experience in networking, accomplishing varied atypical project assignments with limited guidance.
  • Execute and establish Quality Assurance and Product testing standards to ensure the final product meets the project's needs.
  • Installs new software releases, perform system upgrades, configures network equipment via command line and GUI interfaces, and resolves complex problems.
  • Work with Power Supply equipment.
  • Coordinates with appropriate team(s) to apply software updates.
  • Ensure the effective, secure, and regulatory-compliant operations and administration of complex infrastructure resources and consistent integrity of information.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, operating systems, telecommunications networks, and specialized systems administration.
  • Knowledge of the definition, design, and implementation of network communications and solutions.
  • Knowledge of current system administration tools and scripting languages.
  • Decommissioning of network equipment and RMA defective equipment per vendor specifications.
  • Working knowledge of provisioning Cisco equipment.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree required, preferably in computer science or related field. Will consider candidates without a degree if they show/demonstrate having 2+ years' equivalent, relevant experience in tools, systems, and initiatives leveraged by customers.
  • Certification in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and/or Cisco CCENT is preferred. 2+ years of relevant experience.
