We are currently looking for a Network Operations Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Network Operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to technical staff
Manage team performance, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to ensure consistent operational coverage and timely issue resolution
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional IT teams to align operational objectives and support broader technology initiatives
Serve as an escalation point for critical incidents, outages, and complex networking issues
Oversee enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN environments, cloud connectivity, wireless technologies, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring solutions
Support and manage large-scale network environments across multiple locations and remote sites
Coordinate with third-party support providers and vendors to ensure service quality and escalation management
Lead network infrastructure projects from planning through execution and delivery
Develop and improve operational processes, automation initiatives, monitoring capabilities, and reporting procedures
Monitor service performance metrics and ensure adherence to established service levels and operational standards
Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence
Balance business priorities with operational risk while driving timely resolution of issues
Required Qualifications
6+ years of related IT infrastructure or network operations experience
Experience leading and mentoring technical professionals in a complex networking environment
Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, cloud networking, broadband connectivity, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and related technologies
Understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, SNMP, RMON, and remote access technologies
Experience supporting enterprise network environments, including routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using collaboration and project tracking tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate efforts across teams and vendors
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Ability to work an evening support schedule as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Prior people management experience including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and team development
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Experience with network technologies including Cisco, Palo Alto, wireless networking, load balancing, and monitoring tools
Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar IT service management platforms
Ability to identify operational improvements and drive process optimization initiatives
Experience implementing automation and enterprise monitoring solutions
