Job Description


Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.

We are currently looking for a Network Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance existing intranet and extranet applications.

  • Design, implement, maintain, and monitor Windows Desktops, Servers, Active Directory, Exchange, and network infrastructure.

  • Deploy and manage Windows systems in a mixed environment.

  • Manage VMware ESXi, vSphere, and vCenter while adhering to best practices.

  • Implement and manage Disaster Recovery best practices, including enterprise backup and replication tools.

  • Monitor system performance, logging, and availability to ensure smooth operation.

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN tunnels.

  • Work with enterprise infrastructure, including blade servers, fiber channel switching, and SAN storage.

  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff to support IT operations.

  • Provide 24/7 availability and occasional travel as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college education a plus).

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Desktop and Active Directory management.

  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco routers and switches.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong reasoning, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.

  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM.
