We are currently looking for a Master Data Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Data Management: Maintain and update master data records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across databases and systems. Perform regular audits to catch and resolve any discrepancies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze master data to identify trends and anomalies, extract actionable insights, and support business goals. Develop and maintain data models for comprehensive reporting and analysis.
- Data Governance: Define and enforce data governance policies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish clear data ownership. Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Data Integration: Partner with IT teams to integrate master data from various sources, ensuring smooth data flow across systems and applications.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of master data processes, data definitions, and quality control standards.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create and customize reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders. Tailor reporting to specific business needs.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining data management processes and improving data quality. Collaborate with teams to drive process enhancements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the go-to person for data-related issues, updates, and improvements. Work with business units to understand their data needs and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on data tools and processes. Assist teams in resolving any data-related issues or concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in data management and analysis, including familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms. Knowledge of data governance principles, data integration processes, and relevant regulations like GDPR or HIPAA is preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, data quality management tools, and database management systems. Industry-specific data domain knowledge (product data, customer data, etc.) is a plus.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Certifications in data management or related areas are a plus.
