We are currently looking for a Manual QA Tester to join our team.
Create test plans and map requirements to test cases.
Develop and execute regression, functional, and system level tests.
Assist with verification testing of requirements, design specifications, technical specifications, and full regression testing documents throughout the SDLC.
Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases from specifications or verbal communications and via liaison with development, project management, and various other departments.
Work with developers and analysts throughout the SDLC process to recognize changes to scope and to adapt the related testing requirements.
Identify, log and track defects discovered during verification, system and integration testing.
Provide reliable recommendations on application readiness.
Perform testing within multiple environments (pc and Mac,) browsers (ie, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.,) and devices (mobile, tablet, and desktop).
Work with and provide QA Manager and/or Project Manager constant feedback on testing progress, defect and build status, application readiness, and other testing related metrics.
Perform troubleshooting on web-based sites, machine-based software, and SQL backend projects
Proficient in reading and writing SQL statements including but not limited to Select statements, mathematic operations, and etc.
Knowledge of and experience testing applications developed in: .NET, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
Understanding/Experience in Agile Development.
Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server and standard Microsoft development environments.
Well-rounded testing skills with a firm understanding of functional end-to-end testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office applications
Experience with both manual and automated testing experience is preferred.
