Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Denver Areas.


We are currently looking for a Manager to join our team.


Position Responsibilities
  • As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing the execution of operational, tactical, and strategic activities on a day-to-day basis.
  • In particular, you’ ll be responsible for working as part of a driven team to ensure our Wide Area Network meets the needs of the business.
  • You will be helping to architect, design and integrate solutions to provide connectivity to nearly 8, 000 branch offices worldwide. 
  • You’ ll have the opportunity to work across multiple teams to help deliver innovative solutions to provide our branch offices access to services on the Internet and in our data centers.
  • Through familiarity with emerging technologies, security and design practices, you can help provide our branches a secure and responsive network solution to rely on while they service customers.
  • The scope of your role will be to manage a team of engineers responsible for planning and testing design changes, planning and implementing capacity adjustments as well as assisting in development of new designs.
  • You’ ll also be asked to manage the lifecycle of our solutions, working closely with other Engineering and Operational groups to plan and coordinate changes. 
  • You will develop and maintain procedures that support team activities associated with specific areas of expertise or responsibility and lead individuals in adhering to and supporting team procedures.


Required Qualifications
  • 6 years IT related experience
  • 3 years of experience with network design and network security, in large scale large enterprise or service provider networks
  • 3 years of experience successfully managing people including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews
  • Proven experience in leadership and team centric skills and strong solution orientation
  • Proven experience working with network service providers and solution providers
  • Excellent communication skills are required as demonstrated by the ability to effectively defend ideas and solutions; convey complex information regarding risk and security issues in a manner that is easily understood and actionable
  • Must demonstrate excellent relationship management skills, specifically around managing conflict and resistance to change, and the ability to create a non-adversarial atmosphere and be viewed as a partner
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and agility related to critical thinking and making decisions with complex considerations as it relates to business implications
  • Ability to challenge current solutions, determine appropriate solutions, and ensure there is alignment across the organization
  • Adept at improving outcomes through proactive coaching and development at all levels
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
